This event is for folks who are tired of dating apps, loud bars, and awkward dating games. You’ll be able to meet fellow book-lovers seeking romance and/or friendship. This event is open to any sexuality~ so come say “Haaayyy”! Bring your current read as a conversation starter!
Check in at the front desk to get a name tag and one of our “Flirtation Cards” (inspired by the Victorian cards of the same name!). These are cheeky cards that you can give it to the paramour of your choice— they can then choose to respond to you at a later date or not.
The first 30 minutes or so will be more structured to help facilitate communication, but afterwards folks will be left to themselves to chat with any folks they want. This is intended to be a casual event, so feel free to come and go as you please.
