  • We are not, but thank you for your interest!

    We hope to grow and hire folks one day, but that’s a ways down the road at the moment.

  • We did!! On March 20th we had our Grand Opening for the brick & mortar of Pocket Dimension Bookshoppe. We’ll still hop around in our Mobile Bookstore from time to time, but this storefront allows us to have more stock and dedicated opening hours.

  • We focus mostly on sci-fi & fantasy books, but we’re pretty liberal with the terms. You’ll find a lot of speculative fiction, horror, and everything in-between. We might also carry a few non-fiction books from time to time if we feel like it.

  • We do, in fact, sell used books! How very astute of you!

    We try to have a decent mix between new and used books. (Plus it gives us an excuse to go book hunting!)

    Any donations should be predominately sci-fi & fantasy based. We’re a pretty small operations so we can’t promise to take that load of 14 boxes of books you’ve been meaning to drop off at the Goodwill, but we can take a peak at what you’re offering and snag a few!

  • Absolutely! While we don’t focus on children’s books, we will still try and carry a few books for the younglings in your life.

    Buuuuut it’s up to you to make sure they don’t fall into a stray pocket dimension and end up in Westeros or Panem.

  • So many things!! We are a family of crafters and makers, so you’ll find an assortment of handmade items here. We’ll carry handmade pottery, leather bracelets and masks, jewelry, baked goods (yum!), tote bags, and even t-shirts. And that’s just the stuff we make ourselves!

    We also plan to have a lot of other fun and unique items (think dice, pins, stickers!) from small makers both local and beyond.

  • A mobile bookshop is exactly what it sounds like! A bookshop! That’s mobile!

    We transformed a plain cargo trailer into a cozy, enchanting little Pocket Dimension, filled with shelves of books, a warm atmosphere, good vibes, and just a touch of magic. Picture Howl’s Moving Castle, but squashed into a 7×16 trailer, dragged around by a grey Toyota Tacoma named Starbug.
